2008 Fairfield Street Performance

The DHS Marching Band was Nevada's Representative to the Presidential Inauguration of George H. Bush in 1989 and George W. Bush in 2001 & 2005!  The band has received 814 awards in the past few years, including placing 1st in the prestigious Nevada Day Parade in the last 17 out of 26 years!  509 of these awards have been either 1st place, Sweepstakes, or Superior Ratings!  This also includes winning 2 Governor's Cups in the last 4 years!  (There was no Governor's Cup given for the 2011 marching season)

In the Fall the band becomes the "Marching Band'!  Pictured to the left is the band at the Fairfield Tournament of Champions (11/18/06)

The band marches at all of the home football games, the McQueen "Extravaganza", The Nevada Day Parade (which they have taken home the Sweepstakes Trophy seventeen times out of the last twenty-five years!)...and the Fairfield TOC 

The "Pride of the Carson Valley" represented the State of Nevada at the 2005 Presidential Inaugural in Washington, DC!!  (See the Inaugural Photo Album for more DC pictures!)
